Our first Quick Write

A Quick Write is a short piece of writing to practise some specific skills. It's about showing what we can do with our words and sentences and focusing on quality of our writing. Today we used a photo as our motivation and wrote about what we though had led up to this event, what was happening in the photo and what we thought would happen next. We used Study Buddies today to discuss ideas and check that the writing made sense. We did some sharing of our favourite or most interesting words and some of us shared our writing with the class.
